Oak Island Pet Friendly Accommodations

A vacation isn’t a vacation if the whole family isn’t there. Dogs that are leashed are permitted year round on Oak Island beaches. Dogs are allowed off their leash from October 15 until March 15 from 6:00AM until 8:00PM in locations marked by beach access signs.

We offer a variety of Oak Island pet friendly accommodations. From motel style rooms to 2 bedroom suites, our Oak Island motel & suites has just the room you are looking for when traveling with your furry family member!

We require all dogs to be current on their vaccinations and display a rabies vaccination and an ID tag.
Always have a water bowl, fresh cool water, and extra poop bags with you.
Clean up after your pets and properly dispose of the pet waste.
Remember pavement, sidewalks, and sand get extremely hot and can burn your pets’ paws. Provide shady retreats for them, as well.
